  1. Eva, I’m hoping this is the way to send a message to you. I see on your site you’re co-writing a memoir with my aunt, Dotty Vidargas, and I’m curious to know its status given her passing. I also happen to be the editor of a daily newspaper in the U.S., btw, and I’m working to get her obit picked up by AP. Thanks.

  2. Eva,

Thank you for sharing your expertise with us.

My latest novel, Holy Betrayal is being sold on Amazon and Barnes & Noble and I am currently 300+ pages into its sequel.

I am scheduling book singings in Mexico and am considering having such an event in San Miguel where I lived for about 5 years before moving to Guadalajara and then Morelia. Because I no longer reside in San Miguel, but still have friends there, I am asking just about everyone I know in San Miguel if there is one place to hold such an event that would be better than another. I did email Susan Page, but she either does not read her emails or simply does not care to respond. I would appreciate any suggestions you might have re. a book signing event in your town of residence.

    • Julia,
Many authors either do their readings at The San Francisco Hotel or at the Biblioteca Publica in a room called the Sala Quetzal. You can google both of those for information, but if you have problems, write to me at writingcoach.editor@gmail.com. You may want to look at our on-line literary magazine, SOL: English Writing in Mexico. We do take book excerpts, and the subject matter does not have to be specific to Mexico. And please sign up for both Professional Writing Coach and SOL.

    • Julia,
You might want to take a look at our on-line magazine, Sol: English Writing in Mexico, http://www.solliterarymagazine.com to see if you are interested in submitting, or just to read some really good fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. The submissions do not have to be about Mexico, or by writers living in Mexico. We have a category called, “We like it.”
